The Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center and lake partners will be hosting a Water Works Fair to celebrate and learn about Lake Champlain. The Water Works Fair will offer opportunities to explore the ecology and experiences of Vermont’s greatest natural resource with hands-on educational activities and fun for all ages. Experiential education provides the critical link to our lake and develops future stewards for its health and future generations.

The fair will be held in Waterfront Park adjacent to the main concert stage near the other kids events. There will opportunities for participants to catch plankton, ID fish, explore watersheds and much more. Community partners from across the state will be there to guide you in your adventures and explorations. After completing several stations and checking off your Water Works Fair Passport you are eligible for paddling at the Community Sailing Center and rowing with the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.
