2013 highlights



The Festival welcomes back the Eco-Zone, sponsored by Outdoor Gear Exchange! Taking place on the lawn in front of ECHO Lake Aquarium in Burlington’s Waterfront Park all day on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-12! Visit an array of non-profit organizations to learn about the ecology of our largest resource: Lake Champlain. Gain a greater understanding of responsible environmental practices through interactive exhibits. Visit Lake Champlain International’s Bobber Bob! Enjoy free music, stop in to learn more about the Lake Champlain ecosystem displays from ECHO Leahy Center and Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center; visit the UVM Research Vessel Melosira and stop by the Lake Champlain Committee booth! Lake Champlain Sailing Center Activities, including free paddling on Sunday from Noon-2pm; participants must be at least 8 years of age. Come by the VEEP booth and learn about sustainable energy and teach your children energy efficiency as they pedal the electricity generating bike! See the Rozalia Project implement their high tech VideoRay ROV’s (Underwater Robots!!) at the Festival this year!
