The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival Announces 2nd Annual Non-Profit Palooza!
BURLINGTON, VT—The Festival is pleased to announce the Second Annual Non-Profit Palooza, Thursday, August 15, 6:00-8:30pm at The Champlain Ferry Boat at the King Street Ferryboat Dock (Docked next to Breakwater Cafe & Grill). Meet staff members from 80 Vermont non-profits! Enjoy food, drink and music! Win great prizes!
The Non-Profit Palooza brings together nearly 80 area non-profit organizations relating to social services, the arts, children/youth advocacy, education, environment and health, offering guests a unique opportunity to meet hundreds of hard-working Vermonters, tireless supports of this community to work hard everyday to make it the strong, vibrant, compassionate state we all embrace. The evening is focused on sharing: sharing community, sharing resources, and sharing means. Whatever you are able to give–be it an open mind, your time or a donation, the Non-Profit Palooza welcomes you. There will be prizes and the more you donate, the more chances you have to win. Plus, enjoy delicious food, drink and great live music!
Tickets are $20 and include light appetizers, cash bar. Burlington Business Association members receive a $5 discount; admission ticket will be $15 and includes light appetizers, cash bar.

The 7th Annual Lake Champlain Maritime Festival
Now heading towards its seventh year, the Festival is a three-day celebration of Lake Champlain, showcasing hundreds of exhibits throughout sites on the Burlington Waterfront (Burlington Boathouse, Perkins Pier, Spirit of Ethan Allen, Lake Champlain Ferries, Northern Lights Lake Champlain Cruises, US Coast Guard, Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center, ECHO Leahy Center, Burlington’s Waterfront Park and more). Other Festival activities include: Lake Champlain Antique & Classic Boat Show on Saturday; ALS Silent Auction; Non-Profit Palooza; Pirate 5k Run/Walk; Stand Up for the Lake; Mission Possible; Dog Zone; Comedy Zone; free, daily music on multiple stages; four evening ticketed concerts, presented by Higher Ground (Black Crowes with the London Souls and (3) TBA); Kid Zone with free kids’ activities; international food court and crafts; beer tent; maritime exhibits and more!
