This year, WhistlePig will be debuting their newest product at the Festival!  WhistlePig “100/100”, “the finest rye whiskey available anywhere,” according to Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, is a 10yr, 100 proof, 100% straight rye whiskey hand bottled at the WhistlePig farm in Shoreham, VT. After serving as the Master Distiller for Maker’s Mark over 14 years, Dave Pickerel partnered with WhistlePig CEO and founder Raj Bhakta and spent 18 months scouring North America for the world’s best rye whiskey. After this exhaustive search, Bhakta and Pickerell released WhistlePig’s 10yr rye whiskey in 2010 to widespread acclaim: Wall Street Journal identified WhistlePig as on of the Top 5 Best Whiskies of 2010 and Wine Enthusiast awarded our rye 96 points, the highest rating ever awarded to a rye whiskey.
