Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate has released a CD called “Give Me an RRR! ” whose 18 songs feature a variety of styles like nursery rhyme, rap, reggae, punk, and folk. It has been compared to Monty Python meeting Sesame Street a musical pirate ship. Seven Days of Burlington Vermont says “The Friendly Pirate proves just goofy enough to delight young scalliwags and roguish enough to keep Raffi-weary parents from walking the plank”. Smugglers’ Notch Resort is his home port, but he has also performed at the Echo Center, Vermont Lake Monster games, Vermont National Guard Homecoming celebration, Copley Hospital in Morrisville, Bakersfield Library, Bristol Elementary School, Cambridge Elementary School, The Festival of the Arts in Jeffersonville, Keeler’s Bay Market in South Hero, and Plattsburgh New York’s Mayor’s Cup Regatta.
